What is Linn launching?

• New higher performance Klimax DS, Akurate DS, Majik DS and Majik DSM
• Exakt Link connections on Klimax DS, Akurate DS, Majik DS and Majik DSM
• Performance upgrades for Klimax DS and Akurate DS owners, plus Renew DS for both
• SPACE Optimisation+ for all Exakt systems – integrated and separate
• Further Exakt support for 3^rd party speakers: B&W 802 Diamond, Kudos Titan II
• SPACE Optimisation on all Linn network music players, new or existing (via a software upgrade)

When can I order the new DS products and when do they ship?

Orders for the new Klimax DS, Akurate DS, Majik DS and Majik DSM can be placed now. Shipping will commence on 16^th March. Orders placed for any of these products but not yet shipped will receive the new model at no extra cost as soon as it’s available.

We plan to introduce the upgrades for Klimax DS and Akurate DS in the coming weeks.

When is Space Optimisation available?

Space Optimisation will launch on all Linn network music players on 16^th March

Does this mean Space Optimisation will also be available for Kiko, Sneaky DS, Sneaky DSM and Sekrit DSM at no extra cost?

Yes.

Does the addition of Exakt Link to Majik DS and Majik DSM mean Linn is launching Exakt speakers or an Exaktbox at Majik level?

No, we’re not currently developing a Majik level Exakt speaker but we do envisage Exakt rolling out eventually at more performance levels, and so we’re including Exakt Link connections on Klimax, Akurate and Majik products to pave the way for future upgrades and to protect your customers’ investment in Linn.

In what ways have Linn DS players been improved?

All DS and DSM players at Klimax, Akurate and Majik level, have a new clocking architecture and improved audio circuitry layouts. This has led to a reduction in the number of components, shorter signal paths and reduced jitter, resulting in improved audio performance. Exakt Link connections have also been added, to enable future Exakt upgrades.

Is Linn launching a new Klimax DSM and Akurate DSM now as well?

No, these already have the new clocking architecture and Exakt Link connections, both of which were added to the versions launched last year.
